The Center for Neuropsychology and Counseling, PC, is accepting applications for one (1) post-doctoral residency position for the 2025-2027 training cycle, starting in August/September 2025. We are a growing, dynamic, and well-respected group private practice with a variety of referral sources (e.g., neurologists, local hospital and rehabilitation centers, primary care physicians, attorneys, schools, and therapists). The practice is located in Chalfont, PA, less than one hour north of Philadelphia. We work in a collaborative group with multidisciplinary psychology professionals.
Details of Fellowship:
This post-doctoral fellowship opportunity provides trainees with advanced clinical training and supervision in clinical neuropsychology, in line with Houston Conference Guidelines for Specialty Training in Clinical Neuropsychology. Trainees will be exposed to a broad range of cases across the lifespan from diverse referral sources. While the focus of this fellowship will be working with adult and geriatric populations, opportunities to conduct evaluations across the lifespan will be made available. Patient populations include, but are not limited to, the following: dementia, stroke, TBI, concussion, neurodevelopmental disorders (i.e., ADHD, Autism, learning disorders), genetic disorders, forensic neuropsychology, and other acquired neurological disorders. Please note that we are not an APPCN member or APA-accredited fellowship, and therefore, do not participate in the APPCN national match program.
Didactics and Supervision:
A variety of didactic opportunities will be made available, and trainees will receive a combination of individual and group supervision. Group supervision will include case conferences, practice fact-finding cases, and reviewing relevant topics in neuropsychology. Mentorship for trainees interested in pursuing board certification through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) will be offered. Lastly, opportunities to supervise externs will also be made available.
Stipend and Benefits:
We offer generous salaries, paid time off, and health benefits. Stipends for attendance at national neuropsychology conferences are also provided (one conference per training year).
Eligibility:
Applicants must have completed a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program in clinical psychology, neuropsychology, or related field, as well as completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship with at least 50% of internship training devoted to the provision of clinical neuropsychological services. Graduate coursework in neuroanatomy, neuropathology, and advanced clinical neuropsychology is strongly preferred. Candidates are expected to pursue licensure in Pennsylvania during their first year of residency.
