Megan Mercurio, MS, LMFT

Megan Mercurio is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a third-year doctoral (PsyD) student in the Counseling Psychology program at Holy Family University. She earned her Master’s degree from Capella University in Counseling and specialized in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and addictions for 14 years. She is experienced in counseling individuals and families with interpersonal struggles and relationship conflict. Megan has worked with individuals with learning disabilities in developing skills and promoting independence. Last year, Megan worked with us during her second year of her doctoral program providing therapy to individuals, couples and families This year, Megan is completing her assessment practicum training here at The Center (we are thrilled to be able to have her another year!). Her interests in assessment and psychological testing center around integrating culturally valid assessment into mental health interventions and psychosocial services. She is also interested in assessing cognitive functioning, diagnosing disorders when appropriate, and providing proper recommendations to clients, their families and treating clinicians. Megan is invested in assisting individuals and families in understanding their unique thinking and learning styles and in providing specific strategies to improve functioning in school, work, and in life.
