Hello! I will be joining The Center this summer for my year-long practicum training, working with Dr. Michael Oakley as my primary supervisor. I am a fourth-year doctoral student studying Clinical Psychology at Chestnut Hill College. I am passionate about helping families develop skills to cope with anxiety, depression, social concerns, and other behavioral difficulties. My goal in therapy is to create a supportive, empathetic environment that promotes growth, allows clients to process their thoughts and feelings, and sets them up with therapeutic skills needed for success.
I have worked with all ages with my primary focus being adolescents and young adults. I have experience working with serious mental illness as well as trauma, anxiety, Autism, ADHD, and mood disorders. I completed my Clinical Experience placement at the LEAP Clinic, a private practice that specialized in neurodivergence, family therapy, and executive functioning. Additionally, I completed my Assessment Practicum with Parkland School District in Allentown where I conducted cognitive and achievement tests for grades K-12. Outside of my practicum experience, I am a group therapist for an Adolescent PHP and a Mental Health Technician for an acute inpatient psychiatric unit. I believe that my experiences in the field have helped me to understand many of the challenges we may face in therapy and how I am able to assist clients to be more successful academically and emotionally.
