The Center for Neuropsychology & Counseling, PC has opportunities for licensed, pre-licensed and postdoctoral candidates interested in providing assessment, therapy and more. A desire to work with clients across the lifespan is great, but an ability to work with children and teens is a must.
The Center is a thriving, growing private practice established in 2008. We are convenient to both Bucks and Montgomery Counties, with clients traveling from other counties, as well. The Center has well-established, collaborative relationships with other professionals and referral sources and a strong reputation for providing excellent, evidence-based care.
Being a strong, small business, we have been able to carefully and thoughtfully create a practice that serves our community and supports our employees. The majority of our clients are private pay, as we do not participate with insurances, with a few minor exceptions. Our team is made up of talented clinicians and support staff that are down-to-earth, engaged and collaborative. We seek out team members who not only provide quality care, but also make great co-workers. Our goal is for every member of the team to be proud of their work and happy to come to work!
We are searching for a strong clinician interested in growing as part of an engaged, collaborative team. At The Center, this individual will not be simply punching a clock and seeing clients, but will seek to grow as a professional, as well as grow the practice. A desire for a long term, mutually beneficial relationship is a must.
The ideal candidate will take their work seriously, but not take themselves too seriously. Healthy social skills, a good sense of humor, strong communication skills, organization, and great boundaries are essential!
The Center believes that for a clinician to truly do their best work, they must take time to care for themselves. We do not just talk about work-life balance; we provide support and flexibility to foster a rich and fulfilling life both in and out of the office. We utilize excellent administrative and business support to allow our clinicians to focus on providing great clinical care, without the hassles of scheduling, paperwork, billing, or marketing.
A component of our supportive atmosphere is a focus on ongoing skill development. We engage in regular case discussion and education, through both formal team meetings, as well as an ‘open door’ policy among our staff.
Team members are expected to maintain high professional, ethical standards, keep their licenses current, and hold malpractice insurance. This includes seeking out consultation, attending quality continuing education programs and conferences, and engaging in staff meetings and training. Collaboration both inside the practice, as well as with other professionals in our community is essential.
