I will be joining The Center this August as a pre-licensed neuropsychology postdoctoral resident, working with Dr. Jason Tanenbaum, ABPP-CN, who is supervising my work. I help adults who are concerned with cognitive impairment due to a variety of causes, but particularly with acquired brain injury (stroke, brain injury, etc.). I strive to provide high-quality neuropsychological evaluations, but my role in the care of my patients goes beyond evaluations. I am also well-trained with providing evidence-based therapies (EBT), such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with modern models of cognitive rehabilitation, such as Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT). I have also participated in research aimed at improving outcomes for interventions designed for people with cognitive impairment following an acquired brain injury. I hope to further our understanding of how to improve brain injury outcomes and provide better services to deserving populations.
Outside of the clinic, I spend as much time as I can with my partner, our infant son, our dog Charlie, and our cat Nyx. Please feel free to ask me about any of my interests including reading science fiction, writing, watching movies, playing games (including video, board, and outdoor), browsing comic books, and working on the never-ending projects around our home.
