Hello! I am a third-year doctoral student studying School Psychology at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I will be spending the current year under the supervision of Dr. Stacey Gagliano, developing my psychological assessment skills to help support clients in understanding their cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. My interests are diverse, but I primarily have a passion for supporting children and adolescents who are experiencing mood disorders, such as anxiety and depression. I believe in the resilience and potential that can be nurtured through a supportive therapeutic relationship. My goal is to meet each young person where they are, help them better understand themselves, and empower them with the tools and insight they need to thrive.
Previously, I completed my school-based assessment practicum at the Central Bucks School District, where I played an active role supporting students within the community. During my time working with adolescents, I conducted psychoeducational assessments and consulted with staff to assist in the implementation of evidence-based interventions. I took pride in bridging the gap between evaluation and intervention, helping to ensure each strategy was tailored to the individual needs of the student. I also provided group and individual interventions to help promote social and executive functioning skills. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the ways that thoughtful and comprehensive assessments can guide meaningful change.
