Ashley Mondragon, PsyD

Hello everyone! I’m a Neuropsychology postdoctoral resident, and I’m eagerly navigating the path toward licensure under the supervision of Dr. Jason Tanenbaum. My journey in neuropsychology is driven by a deep fascination with the brain-behavior relationship and a commitment to helping individuals understand themselves better and overcome their challenges. While I work with individuals across the lifespan, I am particularly interested in assessing and working with those who experience memory concerns. I aim to provide insightful evaluations to clarify memory-related challenges, offer actionable recommendations, and help individuals and their families manage these issues effectively to improve their quality of life.

I also work with adults struggling with the stressors of life by using third-wave psychotherapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MBCT). These modern approaches emphasize mindfulness, acceptance, and living by one’s values. I also incorporate the “oldies but goodies” therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Pragmatic Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, which provide a solid framework for understanding and addressing various psychological issues. By blending these approaches, I can create a personalized therapy plan that aligns with each individual’s goals and preferences.

When I’m not immersed in my professional life, I find joy in spending time with my partner and our kitty and Pitty (Pitbull). I also have a passion for nurturing plants as an amateur horticulturist, crocheting, reading fiction, hiking, and practicing yoga. I look forward to connecting with you!
