Dr. Brittnie Blanchard

Since you’re here, you probably have questions that you are looking to answer, need guidance and support around a developmental or psychiatric concern, desire a safe space for exploration and development, or maybe a combination of these. So, how can I help?

As a certified school psychologist, and licensed psychologist, I provide psychological evaluations for individuals across the lifespan as well as therapy services to children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Psychological evaluation offers a clear snapshot of functioning characterized by individual patterns, strengths, and needs that then informs individualized recommendations for intervention and support. These evaluations function well in tandem with psychotherapy, which provides a supportive environment that facilitates self-discovery, understanding, processing, and growth within individuals. My approach is evidence-based and focuses on the whole person. I also offer a faith-sensitive approach for those who wish to incorporate faith and spirituality into their individual process.

I have trained and worked in public schools, charter schools, private practices, hospitals, and community-based settings providing therapy, consultation, and assessment-based services to address a wide variety of presenting issues from school-based difficulties to severe mental illness. My previous tenure in public school settings provided strong familiarity with the special education system, multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and school-based interventions, and collaboration with teachers and other school-based staff to support students presenting with a variety of needs.

With this background in school psychology and experience in various settings treating child, adolescent, and family populations, I am readily equipped to provide the following services as a member of The Center team:

·       Comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations addressing neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., Intellectual Disability, ADHD, Learning Problems, and Autism Spectrum Disorders) as well as psychiatric disorders

·       Independent Educational Evaluations

·       Gifted Evaluations

·       Disability Evaluations

·       Evaluations for testing accommodations and college accommodations

·       Collaboration with school personnel to assist in developing appropriate education plans that best address individual student needs

·       Psychotherapy services for children, adolescents, and young adults to address symptoms and effects of ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Selective Mutism, school-based difficulties, and other needs

Whether you come seeking an evaluation or therapeutic support, I look forward to connecting with you!
