I am a licensed Psychologist providing individual and couples therapy to young adults and adults as well as individual consultation and supervision to clinicians.
In therapy, my passion lies in helping you put words to the previously unspoken. In my approach, therapy becomes a space for you to explore all possibilities from a safe but engaging environment. I aim to provide insight and compassion while offering the space necessary to transform those discoveries into meaningful change. Together, we can understand and work through those feelings, thoughts, and experiences that create tension in your daily life.
In addition to working with personality and identity development, depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, I have also worked in substance abuse treatment and co-occurring disorders since 2010. I have been formally trained in Psychodynamic therapy, Family Systems therapy, Projective assessments, and empirically-supported interventions. My postdoctoral training, which included the management of chronic health issues and substance use disorders, was completed at the AIDS Care Group in Sharon Hill, PA. I completed my doctoral internship at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. I have further training from Haverford College CAPS, Penndel Mental Health, and forensic assessment with Dr. Bob Gordon, PhD.
My mission in our work is to understand and hear you, while helping you to access parts of yourself that have otherwise been made quiet. Therapy can be intimidating and scary, exciting and interesting, but above all, it’s meant to help. So that’s what I offer to you – my help. In addition to individual therapy, I provide individual psychodynamic supervision.
