Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

People with ADHD typically have many strengths, talents and a unique way of seeing things. However, they might also feel they are not as effective as they would like to be – whether in school, at work or in their relationships.

Since ADHD is a neurological disorder, it presents different challenges throughout the lifespan. Children often “outgrow” their impulsivity and hyperactivity, replaced with a feeling of restlessness and complaints of poor judgment in adulthood. Time management and organization skills become bigger problems over time and the frustration can build.

At The Center, we support individuals with ADHD throughout the lifespan, with whatever struggles they may have. Through thorough evaluation, comprehensive education and age-appropriate treatment, we help children and adults become more effective in their lives.
